Classical Singer Sundays 2026 Season

A year-long programme celebrating the breadth, personality, and versatility of classical vocal performance.

What is classical singer Sundays?

Classical Singer Sundays is an Adelaide-based, curated open mic event that gives classical singers of all ages and experience levels the chance to perform solo in front of a live audience. It also offers affordable, relaxed performances that help grow appreciation for classical music.

Singers register online via our website www.classicalsingersundays.com  to perform at our events and each event is run by a host in a relaxed  cabaret-style format.

What kind of works are permitted?

We suggest any piece that falls within the general definition of “Classical Vocal Technique” including Opera, Art Song, Operetta, Oratorio, Cantata all the way through to Golden Age Musical songs. Each session has a theme we ask singers to select works that fit the session theme. We alos have an emerging artist option, for younger or less experienced singers (having tuition of less than 3 years) to select a work outside the theme. If you are in doubt if your piece is suitable send us an email at classicalsingersundays@gmail.com
